Folded or bound
Folded brochures are a single sheet folded into panels – a tri-fold A4 is the classic company brochure. Stapled brochures are multi-page booklets, better when you have more to say, such as a product range or a school prospectus. For longer documents see booklet printing.
Paper and cover choices
- Silk or matt paper for a calm, readable finish.
- Gloss for photography-led brochures.
- A heavier cover on stapled brochures so it holds its shape.
- Lamination on the cover for brochures that will be handled a lot.

Getting the artwork right
Set up a folded brochure as two pages – outside and inside – with panels in fold order. Stapled brochures need a page count in multiples of four. Leave a little more margin near the spine. Use 3mm bleed throughout and check images are 300dpi. Our print-ready PDF guide covers the export.
Price and timing
Standard brochure configurations are priced online, and the price changes as you pick size, pages, paper and quantity. Custom specifications are quoted. Folded brochures generally qualify for faster tiers than stapled ones because there are fewer finishing steps.

What a brochure should include
Start with what the reader needs: who you are, what you offer, why it matters to them and how to get in touch. Use real photos where possible, keep paragraphs short and put your contact details on the back panel or back cover where people look for them. A tri-fold has six panels – plan what goes on each before designing.

We accept card payments through Yoco and EFT; anything under R5,000 is paid upfront, and R5,000 or more needs a 65% deposit.
