Ideas for using postcards
- Thank-you cards in online-store parcels, with a discount code for the next order.
- New-product announcements dropped into letterboxes.
- Appointment cards for salons, dentists and therapists.
- Art prints and photographs sold at markets.
- Event save-the-dates – see invitation printing.
Board and finish
Postcards are printed on heavy board so they do not bend in the post or in a bag. A matt or uncoated back lets people write on them. Gloss or laminated fronts show off photography. Read our guide to paper weights for context.
Price and lead times
Postcards are paper printing, so prices show online and the usual tiers apply: Economy, Standard, Express and Same-day where offered. Supply artwork with 3mm bleed and keep text 4mm inside the edge. See marketing materials.
How to order postcard printing: set up the item in the shop and the price updates as you change the options. Attach your artwork at checkout – or ask for design help, which is charged separately. Payment is by Yoco card payment or EFT, in full for orders under R5,000 and with a 65% deposit from R5,000 up. When it is ready, pick it up at our Rivonia shop on a weekday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, or have it couriered to you at a quoted cost.
