Leaflet printing

A leaflet carries more information than a quick flyer – a service list, a menu, a programme or a set of instructions. We print them flat or folded, in colour or black and white, with prices online.

Leaflet formats

  • Flat A5 or A4 – single sheet, one or two sides.
  • A4 folded to A5 – a half fold that gives four panels.
  • A4 folded to DL – a roll or Z-fold giving six panels, fits a standard rack or envelope.
  • A3 folded to A4 – four large panels for detailed content.

Flat sheets use the per-copy flyer rates: A5 colour R1.90, A4 colour R4.00, A3 colour R9.00, A4 black and white R1.50. Folding is priced online or quoted.

Planning a folded leaflet

The order of panels on a folded leaflet is not the order you see on screen. With a roll fold, the inside panel that tucks in must be slightly narrower so it does not buckle. Our folding options guide shows how each fold is laid out.

Paper choices

Folded leaflets on heavy paper can crack along the fold, so heavier papers are scored first. For handouts, a mid-weight paper folds cleanly and keeps costs down. Read paper weights explained if you are unsure.

Turnaround

Choose the lead time that suits your date: Economy (around 5 working days, 10% off), Standard (around 3 working days, listed price), Express (next working day, +20%) or Same-day (eligible items in by 09:00 Mon–Fri, +30%). The clock starts once payment and approved artwork are both in.

Folded items take an extra step in finishing, so allow for that when choosing Express or Same-day. Order in flyers and leaflets, or get a quote for unusual folds.

How to order leaflet printing: set up the item in the shop and the price updates as you change the options. Attach your artwork at checkout – or ask for design help, which is charged separately. Payment is by Yoco card payment or EFT, in full for orders under R5,000 and with a 65% deposit from R5,000 up. When it is ready, pick it up at our Rivonia shop on a weekday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, or have it couriered to you at a quoted cost.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a folded leaflet the next day?
Express is available on most leaflet options. Check the product page for the lead times offered for your fold.
Which fold is best for a price list?
A roll fold to DL works well because it fits a rack and reads in a logical order.
Do you fold by hand?
Folding is done as part of finishing; the method depends on the paper and quantity.
Are leaflets priced per copy?
Flat leaflets use the per-copy rates shown above. Folded leaflets show their price online for the options you choose, or are quoted.
