Building a stand
A simple, effective stand is one or two pull-up banners behind a table with a printed table cloth, plus flyers and business cards on the table. Add a flag outside the venue or at the entrance to the hall. Use the same artwork style on every item so the stand reads as one.
Reusable vs once-off
Pull-ups, table cloths and flags can be reused for years if the message is general – logo, what you do, website. Put event-specific information such as dates and specials on flyers and posters that can be reprinted cheaply.
Lead times
Banners are eligible for Same-day if ordered, paid and print-ready by 09:00 on a weekday (+30%), but for a planned expo, Standard or Economy is better value. See also banners.
Looking after displays
Roll pull-up banners back into the base slowly, keep them in their bag, and store them indoors. Table cloths can be folded and stored in a dry place. Flags should be taken in during strong wind and stored dry to avoid mildew. Treated well, display items can be reused at many events, which is why a general message is worth considering.
Ordering promotional displays: choose your options and quantity in the shop, upload a print-ready PDF and pay by card through Yoco or by EFT. Orders under R5,000 are paid in full before production; orders of R5,000 or more need a 65% deposit. Production starts once payment and approved artwork are both in. Collect from Shop L23, Rivonia Central (opposite NewsCafe Rivonia), Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or ask for delivery to be arranged and quoted.
