Calendar formats
- Wall calendars – A4 or A3, one month per page, wire-bound with a hanger.
- Desk calendars – a standing tent format, one month per page.
- Year planners – a single A2 or A1 sheet showing the whole year, popular in offices.
- Single-page calendars – A4 or A3 for fridges and notice boards.
Planning the content
Check South African public holidays and school terms if they are relevant to your customers. Use 12 good images – one per month – at 300dpi. Add your logo and contact details on every page, not just the cover, so the calendar keeps working for you all year. If you are a school or church, add key dates for the year.
When to order
Calendars are most often ordered from October to December for year-end gifting, which is also a busy time for printers. Ordering in October or early November and choosing Economy saves money and avoids a rush. Calendars need binding and assembly, so they do not suit Same-day.
Pricing
Calendar prices depend on format, size and quantity. Standard calendars show prices online; custom versions are quoted. Browse calendars, or combine calendars with notepads and corporate gifts for a year-end client pack.
